Hi All,

Re SuSE 5.3

I wonder if anyone can help me.  I know that I can set the address 
and IRQ for a network card by sending kernel parameters at boot 
time.  Along similar lines I want to do this for my modem.  An 
alternative would be placing these settings into a file somewhere.  
My difficulty is that I don't seem to be able to find this information 
or where a file might be kept that I can use.

If anybody has any Ideas or can provide a pointer or two in the right 
direction that would be great.
