Did you change your QTDIR in your path to point to the correct directory? There
is a text file in the suse ftp site that explains this. For me persohnally, I
have had not problems.
Attatched is the ftp text file

Important Note for qt-1.41
Do not forget to change the value of QTDIR since we moved the qt stuff
to /usr/lib/qt. The change has to be done (depending on S.u.S.E. Linux
version) in
/etc/profile or/and
/sbin/SuSEconfig or/and
/opt/kde/bin/startkde
Versions of S.u.S.E. Linux > 5.3 will have it set in the new way.
Also since this version there's an additional package qtcompat. It contains
several include files which were contained in package qtdevel up to
version 1.33 but are obsolete since 1.4.
If you encounter problems compiling older QT programs, you should try if
they compile well if qtcompat is installed.
If you want to write programs in QT yourself you should not use this
package (or test if your program compiles well if qtcompat is not installed).
Your S.u.S.E. Team
