This is not correct. Linux needs a dedicated swap partition. Also, WinNT
and 98 don't use swap partitions, they use swap files on the partition
their systems are sitting on... I guess you could share a partition as swap
space for 98 and NT, but I doubt it would be worth the hassle.
As for size: How much RAM do you have? I have 64 MB, and I gave Linux 64 MB
Swap space, so that adds up to 128 MB ... works great so far.

Yes I think that is correct. My root partition is 100 MB.

Sorry I can't really help you here, I don't have much experience setting up
NT, 98 and Linux on one computer. I can give you my sample partitioning for
when I used to run 95 and Linux on one computer. Back then, I had a 2.1 G
drive:
1) OS/2 Boot manager 1 MB
2) primary dos -> win95 700 MB
3) Extended Partition: Rest of HD
4) Logical drive in 3): Linux Swap 32 MB
5) Logical drive in 3): Linux, 700 MB
6) Logical drive in 3): Data (documents etc) rest of 3)
It was not a very good setup, because space was very limited, but it worked
fine. I used the OS/2 Boot manager, also included in Partition Magic (great
product).
If you don't have that, lilo will probably be your boot manager of choice,
because I have my doubts about NT loader being able to start linux.

See above.
I hope this helps....
Best wishes,
Nils
