Sorry, I gave you some duff info. Options -tzvf views the contents
of a gzipped tar and -xzvf extracts the contents.

Options -tzvfg is duff info as the 'z' flag filters the file thru gzip.

Therefore, 'tar -xvf filename' for tar files and 'tar -xzvf
filename' for gzipped tars.
