I havn't been able to find Staroffice 4.0.  I'd say it's not available from
it's maker, <A HREF="<A HREF="http://www.stardivision.com";><A HREF="http://www.stardivision.com</A">http://www.stardivision.com</A</A>>">Star Division</A>

Staroffice 5.0 is supposed to be out some time this week and I would imagine
it
would be available for download just like the older version was.  See the
URL
above.
