SuSE-ppp never worked for me (I use SuSE 5.2). Taking the examples from the
PPP-Howto worked perfectly fine for me (then again, I don't think my login
could be any simpler (PAP)). kppp didn't work either, but since my scripts
work just fine, I never bothered to take a very close look at it
