Having not gone through the upgrade process before, and expecting the
arrival of 5.3 any day now, can anyone tell me which directories I
should especially backup before upgrading?

I guess the safe answer is all of them :) but what I'm getting at is
will the upgrade overwrite the config files in /etc, or any of the files
in my home directory for instance?

BTW, I love the logo Michael ;-)
