Well I don't have any experience with the K6-2 but I do have a K6-300
based system that uses an ASUS SP97-V motherboard. I have SuSE 5.2 on
this system and it's running 24/7 as this particular system is a
gateway/firewall for my home network. I've had the system for about a
month and I'm not experiencing any stability problems with this
CPU/motherboard combination.
