[S.u.S.E. Linux] /var/log/messages question

Hi, everyone!
I have this entry in my /var/log/messages file:
------------------Start quote-------------------------------------------
Aug 11 23:39:01 hr60 kernel: ICMP: failed checksum from XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX!
------------------End Quote---------------------------------------------
Where:
hr60 - my host name
XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX - some external IP address.
This message repeats twice.
Can anybody explain what this message means, please?
I am somewhat paranoid. I got several of those logged within 3 days from
different IP addresses (mainly dialups).
I run a quake server on this machine, so my IP is known to many players.
I have seen a lot of failed logins, refused rsh, phf errors. However,
never ICMP checksums...
Help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
alexm
