It was rather easy to set up, but it appears to have the same problem. here
is an output of what i get at the console:

------------------------------------------------------------
aaron@host:/usr/local/bin > ./wvdial

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I looked at /var/log/messages, and found something rather interesting:

-------------------------------------------------------------------
Aug 10 18:10:15 host pppd[16423]: pppd 2.2.0 started by aaron, uid 500
Aug 10 18:10:15 host pppd[16423]: Failed to open /dev/cua0: Device or resource
busy
Aug 10 18:10:15 host pppd[16423]: Exit.
-------------------------------------------------------------------

the ----------'s denote beginning and ending of file. Do i need to upgrade
pppd to 2.3.5? If not, what can I do?
