Hello!

PLEASE help this M$ synner! I'm trapped in M$ mail and explorer
hell untill one of you GOOD people tell me where I'm going wrong!

Last weekend (of which I've areadly wrote) there was a lighting storm
in my town. Lighting hit my modem and burned it up. So I went last
Monday and got a new one, a Rockwell 56K Internal
fax /modem/voice.

I got it working in M$ 3.1 without problem, in fact, that's what I'm
writing you from now (YES, I'm a synner!). Under Linux I am able to
use minicom to connect with my ISP, but when I use my "getmail"
script I get the errors listed in the log file. I'm betting it's the "^M"
in
log file that is causing the problem. But as you can see in my
pppchat there is no "^M".

The pppchat file worked with my old modem all I changed was the AT commands
to what worked under minicom.

Help put me out of my misery!
