Yes, I intended to connect to samba via PPP from Win95/NT. However the
error message is generated, while there is no connection.

What I find strange is, that smbclient seems to find the broadcast IP
192.168.100.255 while nmdb doesn't:
# smbclient '\\localhost\ftp'
Added interface ip=192.168.100.10 bcast=192.168.100.255
nmask=255.255.255.0
...
