I come from Debian.  At Debian I have the LPRNG printer spooler which 
have a special configuration that enables me to maintain the printer
job at the spool after print it.

In other words, LPRNG can manage three kind of printer jobs:
active:  The actual job been printed
queued:  The jobs waiting to be printed
done:    The jobs that have been printed BUT NOT DELETED.

For my printer server it is *very important* that I maintain the files
of the printed jobs after print.

I have seen that SuSE 5.2 have two LPR packages: the old LPR and a new,
but the descriptions do not says if this is the LPRNG.

Do you know it this new LPR that came with SuSE enables me to maintain
the jobs at the spool after print it?
