I think, this is possible, but there's a better solution. Read on.

Yes, that should be the easiest way to do it. YaST (or better: RPM) will
follow the symbolic link and install the sources there. Please make sure,
that you use the right name for the symlink, have a look at the content of
the RPM. I believe the directory is called linux-2.0.33-suse and linux is
just a link to this directory.

Hmm, I doubt, that you will find this kind of information in there. This
should be explained in the DOS-to-Linux- or DOS-Win-to-Linux-HOWTO.
