I've tried for the last week to configure the sound board on my notebook
computer, and I still can't get it working.  I've tried what the SuSE
support database tells you to do to configure a sound card with isapnp
still no luck.  My soundcard is an ESS technologies sound blaster pro
compatible irq 5, dma 1, I/O base 220, mpu401 I/O base 300.

any sugestions?
