As one of the earliest beta testers/user of the Opera browser in Winxx,
I remain interested in their development. The following is quoted from
their newsletter received today:

"Project Magic
-------------
As you will know, we have concluded the last negotiations for
Project Magic developments, and *all* involved Operating Systems
are now covered. The list includes Mac, OS/2, Psion/EPOC32,
Amiga, Linux and BeOS.

The development of the Linux and Mac versions were the last to
be commenced and are at present in a code evaluation stage. All
other developments are making steady progress, and you are
welcome to follow the process via the Project Magic pages.

There is no release date set for any of these developments, but
I am convinced that we will see first results of them around
December."

Someone recently wondered about Opera for Linux, hope this helps.
