Well, you can build gimp against gtk+-1.0.5 and see if gtk+-1.1.0 is
causing the problems, or you can remove all traces of previous gtk's and
gimp's and build from scratch just in case any residue from previous
installs is bunging the mess up.  I know that gimp-1.0.0 builds fine
against 1.0.5, the only gimp I ever built against a 1.1.x gtk was a
0.99.x gimp.
