You can't just run a dev kernel, there are other things you need to
upgrade.
Go to <A HREF="http://www.linuxhq.com";><A HREF="http://www.linuxhq.com</A">http://www.linuxhq.com</A</A>> for a list of the packages you need to
upgrade to run a 2.1.x kernel, and remember that these are still
unstable kernels, so expect some behaviour you wouldn't get from a 2.0.x
kernel.
