First, might I suggest you consider the WvDial for your ppp dialer. You
can find WvDial at <A HREF="http://worldvisions.ca/wvdial/";><A HREF="http://worldvisions.ca/wvdial/</A">http://worldvisions.ca/wvdial/</A</A>> I use WvDial with the
excellent X-window manager, XFce. XFce can be found at
<A HREF="http://tsikora.tiac.net/xfce/en/index.html";><A HREF="http://tsikora.tiac.net/xfce/en/index.html</A">http://tsikora.tiac.net/xfce/en/index.html</A</A>>

As for a Linux friendly ISP, I use Galaxy Intenet Services. They don't
claim to be Linux friendly, but everything I;ve tried with them and SuSE
has worked fine. GIS is pretty much national now, and offers unlimited
connect time for $9.95/mo. You'll find them at <A HREF="http://www.gis.net";><A HREF="http://www.gis.net</A">http://www.gis.net</A</A>>.
