I was only stating PCW's finding, a single benchmark test never tells the
whole story and I guess it all depends on what you want to do with your
machine and how much you want to pay.
The benchmark PCW used was BAPCo SYSmark Windoze 95, their results were -
AMD K6-2 333MHz 318
Intel PII 350MHz 288
They did also state in the text that -
"The 3D performance test results using Final Reality were interesting:
the Itel machine outgunned the AMD with an overall score of 3.56 against
AMD's 3.08. This equates to 13 percent greater 3D performance by the
Intel-based machine which has a faster CPU and system bus."
