Rough rule of thumb -- the PostScript option will add about $300 to $350 to
the purchase cost of any HP printer; and it's only available as an option
on the upper-end printers to start with. I *think* there is an Epson laser
printer with PS as a standard, for under $700, but I can't remember. If so,
it's one of the less-expensive PS printers out there. (I haven't looked
seriously in several years; my $1300 Texas Instruments printer is still
going strong).
