S.u.S.E. Linux version 5.3.  Linux is a 32-bit multi-user,
multitasking variant of the UNIX operating system.  The platform was,
and continues to be, developed by many of the world's foremost
developers.

S.u.S.E.'s commitment to precision engineering continues with an
option for quicker and easier installation, support for FAT32 file
systems, and the ability to run and install both glibc-based and
libc-based packages.

S.u.S.E. Linux continues to excel in the areas of speed, stability,
and security, at a price far less than a single-user license for more
expensive Windows NT and UNIX platforms.  In addition, the
availability of the entire source code allows users to tailor the
system to fit their individual needs.

Among more than 800 Linux software titles included in version 5.3 are
the popular Netscape Communicator web browser version 4.05, the
remarkably attractive and customizable KDE window manager, and the
Gnome desktop environment.  The extensive, 400-page reference manual
is an informative resource which guides the user through the processes
of installation and partitioning, integrating multiple operating
systems, basic Linux commands, setting up and configuring the GUI and
window managers, and much more.  Version 5.3 also includes S.u.S.E.'s
own Xfree86 3.3.2.3 XServer, which provides optimum hardware
compatibility by supporting a wide variety of graphics cards and
chipsets, including most AGP, PCI, and Permedia chipsets. Furthermore
S.u.S.E. Linux 5.3 comes with SaX (SuSE advanced X-configuration), 
a graphical administration tool to configure the X Window System.

S.u.S.E. Linux 5.3 is scheduled for a tentative release date in early
September at a price of US $ 49.95.  It may be purchased via our
