Hi,

I could compile Gnome 0.20 on SuSE5.2. More precisely, there are a few
programs I was not able to compile. But most of the programs work.
Although, I could compile mico too, I used a precompiled rpm for libc5 I
found on the discussion list because it takes ages to compile it. You
may need to recompile some programs and libaries which shiped with SuSE.
However, as far as I remember I had only to recompile guile-1.2 because
the gnome-guile package did not work otherwise (and of course also gtk). 

Some programs crash by time to time, but the panel works just fine.
