It is true that you sometimes sense tension when someone asks a trivial
question about blah & it is answered by an expert who simply types man
blah. It is a fact of life that it is very easy to forget how things
were as a newcomer. It wouldn't hurt for some people to have just a
little more patience, but equally, it does no harm to acknowledge that
whoever you are, there _are_ people who know more or have richer parents
But, this thread was started by something of much greater comedic
content - someone replying with a quoted message telling them exactly
the thing they wanted to know.
It's unfortunate that the person concerned was an aol subscriber and
obviously struck a chord with a few people but why not just sit back and
enjoy it ?
Brian.
