With YaST, the GPM administration menu shows that /dev/mouse will be
/dev/ttyS0 on COM1 port.
After YAST restarts GPM, /dev/mouse is pointing to /dev/cua0.

I thougt the CU* devices are going to be outdated and linux is moving
towards ttyS* devices.

How do I get the mouse to work? I tried to create a link from command
line and restarted the GPM and
that too didn't work.

Any ideas or pointers?
