Does anyone know how do you write a file to a tape, spanning across more
than 1 tape? Also, how do you read from it? A collegue of mine came over
this at work and he was asking me about it.
Also, what are the advantages or disadvantages of using cpio versus tar
for archiving?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
C. J. Tan
