Html email sucks and is an inconvenience to others.  People who send
html to mailing lists are either clueless or selfish.  Most of my mail
browsing is done in netscape, both in linux and win95, but about 1/3 of
the time I take my mail at the console, and I'm sure I'm not the only
unix user out here that enjoys the simple elegance of running from the
command line.  I get a mailing list of game developer .plan files, and
it amazes me how cs types can be so clueless about netiquette because so
many of the posts are in html.  It is a testament to how windows breeds
ignorance,  as well as to the crappy nature of that lists' nt majordomo
server (the list sends out only ascii, so all the posts look like
viewing html with vi :P).
