Hi!

Trying to kill the keyboard, hattons@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx produced:

With the same argument, you are accepting bloated, incompatible M$ word
files, Office97 and so on! Or are you?

While I do not care about what 2 consenting adults/computers/email
programs do to each other, I DO prefer good old ASCII. Yes, my mail
program does cooperate with browsers to show me the crap on request,
but using HTML as a default (especially when no info is in there that
could not be conveyed by ASCII) is as useful as driving a 10-ton truck
all the time, no matter if you are moving or just sightseeing. That's a
pretty inconvenient way to do things, a Window'ish way, if you ask me!

Oh, remember people can only judge you by your mails & Co, and if they
come across as garbage ...

-Wolfgang, triggered by HTML mails to lists.

Is our economy _so_ weak we have to tolerate SPAMMERS? I guess not.
