Entries like this makes me wonder how well, if at all, you check your stories.
1) when I checked this morning the url from your article ends up at
SSC's "page not found" message. the correct url for the 49th issue
seems to be url:<A HREF="http://www.ssc.com/lj/issue49"><A HREF="http://www.ssc.com/lj/issue49</A">http://www.ssc.com/lj/issue49</A</A>>
2) at the time I checked (a little before nine in the morning, june 17th,
Central European Daylight Savings Time), I was unable to find any
references to data aquisition or trains.
But then again, if this is an attempt to up your list's comedy appeal,
you've succeeded.
