[S.u.S.E. Linux] CD-ROM error

I broke my system real bad (my fault, not SuSE's), so I re-paritioned
and re-installed my system. When YaST was copying the files from my
cdrom to the system, on a couple of files I saw this:
Jun 2 18:11:27 jesusfreak kernel: end_request: I/O error, dev 19:00,
sector 1235344
Jun 2 18:11:27 jesusfreak kernel: sbpcd-0 [60]: !st_diskok detected -
retrying.
Jun 2 18:11:27 jesusfreak kernel: sbpcd-0 [61]: !st_diskok detected -
retrying.
Jun 2 18:11:27 jesusfreak kernel: sbpcd-0 [62]: !st_diskok detected -
retrying.
Jun 2 18:11:27 jesusfreak kernel: sbpcd-0 [63]: sbp_status: failed
after 3 tries
Everything installed eventually installed fine, but I have no idea what
this error means - I have never saw it before but it popped up quite a
bit during this install. Anyone have any ideas?
I have a Creative CD-ROM running off a SB16 and am running a
freshly-install SuSE 5.2 system (kernal 2.0.33).
