Finally got the kernal to compile.  I had to go "make monfig" and step
through that and away it went.  Now during boot It says SB16 installed or
some such.  My next question is how can I test to see if it is working.  I
turned on sound to games that had sound under redhat and now nothing.  I
long to hear Linus.  Where is the sound demo?????  Thanks a million.
