Dear listmembers,
in contrast to my older 9.3 distribution SuSE 10.1 does not react any more on
changes to the VT100.font - entry in the
file /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/XTerm. This is especially boring when
you have huge resolutions and you always have to change the xterm - font
manually. Is this a bug or a "feature"?
However, the file gets parsed as I can change other entries in the same area
(i. e. changing "Default" to "Deflt" in the font-size dialog shows with a
restart of xterm.
Many thanks for the feedback,
take care

if you really want to see the pictures above - use some font
with constant spacing like courier! :-)
