[01-05-06 17:18]: This bug seems to be beating me 6 love. I have a LCD 17' which should run at 1280x1024 @60hz. Choosing this option in Sax2.. does help. at this stage.. if I choose that option in sax2.. it runs X at 1600x1200 :/ now.. I must run the lcd at 60hz because it doesnt look good (waves on the screen) when running at 75hz. I have now even altered my xorg.conf for vsync = 60 - 60 and the only resolutions availible is 1280x1024... but no. it still chooses to run at 75hz. The lcd's specs are: Max res: 1280x1024@75 Recommended: 1280x1024@60 Horiz sync: 30-80 Vert sync: 60-75 Display area: 337x270 Bandwith: 135mhz
What does the wondoz XXXX.inf install disk for your monitor say?
Mine, NEC-LCD1912 says: HKR,"MODES\1280,1024",Mode1,,"31.0-84.0,56.0-75.0,+,+"
so I substitute: Horiz sync: 31.0 - 84.0 Vert sync: 56.0 - 75.0 DisplaySize 380 300 Option "DMPS"

I do not have a install disk for wandoze. The screen just works there at 60hz.
