OK, I'm not sure if I understand this correctly:
does thee system hang when you use the XvHsync and XvVsync
options but doesn't hang if you don't?
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<-
Excuse me.
That hang was accidental and occures occasionally. It is not the
result of using XvHsync option.
Thank you very much for your help and notice.
I have some other minor problems when using tv-out. If you have
any idea, I'll use it; Else, I don't insist and waste your time
because they are not severe at all:
1- With xine in fullscreen, we have some area below or above the
screen (depends on the value of "XvVsync") left blank. I examined
"XvBskew" option, but it doesn't stretch the image; Is this
option for that purpose?
2- Xine's display shakes badly and becomes much more intense when
using "SWCursor" option! Fortunately, I accidentally found an
option in xine which stops this shake but I don't know how these
are related: Changing the "Video Aspect Ratio" from "4:3" or
"Automatic" to "Square"! I guess xine uses hardware (i.e. gpu)
for that purpose, and this affects the card's functionality.

Could you please send me the log file (/var/log/Xorg.0.log)?
Thanks!
Cheers,
Egbert.
