Hi Stefan,
2. Problems with updating After updating to 6.8.2rc1, the symbolic link "xorg.conf --> XF86Config" got replaced by a new xorg.conf file. Using yast/sax to change settings seems to only modify XF86Config. So I copied the xorg.conf to XF86Config and recreated the link.
Oops. We do this because for the next SuSE release SaX2 writes xorg.conf instead of XF86Config before. Therefore it would make sense to update to our new SaX2 packages as well. Marcus, could you please update your SaX2 packages on the ftp server for this?

The current version does not seem to include this change yet. :-(
OK, will wait for the update ..
Now everything seems cool, except: each time I install any software yast wants to uninstall "xterm".
This sounds strange and is something I cannot reproduce on my 9.2 system. Could you please provide the output of "rpm -Va --nofiles"?
# rpm -Va --nofiles Unsatisfied dependencies for xbanner-1.31-858: xf86 Unsatisfied dependencies for ghostscript-x11-7.07.1rc1-207: xshared There were some conflicts when I started yast the first time after updating xorg but I selected "Ignore all" option. Could that cause the problem? Burkhard
