Hi!
It seemed I succesfully installed the ATI drivers for my ATI Radeon 9200, as
when I type
fglrxinfo, I get the following
display: :0.0 screen: 0
OpenGL vendor string: ATI Technologies Inc
Open GL renderer string: RADEON 9200SE DDR x86/SSE2
OpenGL version string: 1.3 (X4.3.0-3.7.0)
Also the ATI Control appears on the main panel. fglrx and AGPGART modules are
loaded and active. The "dri" module is also loaded.
Well, the problem is that what I get from glxgears is (average):
375 frames in 5.0 sec = 61.600 FPS
which seems to be extremely low for this system
Mobo P4P800 Asus, CPU P IV 2.8GHz, Suse.9 installed.
Also Yast doesn't recognize the video card (but this seems normal,I've red)
Can someone help to improve this installation?
Cheers
Michele
