is there a (written or till now unwritten) policy on describing ways of installation in the (main)-namespace?
No feel free to come up with some :)
I'm for:
1. How? 1.2 Graphical YaST and one-Click.
2. Where from? 2.1 openSUSE repositories
This kind of is implicit because only Applications from the current distribution are supposed to have pages in the main namespace. But you could explicitly mention that
I thought of something like that, too (maybe with YaST2 before One-Click because of the many users in the forums that got trouble with their systems after adding too much repositories by using One-Click). But I see that opinion scratched above (the opinion of you, Henne, and hopefully some other people) not reflected in the articles I mentioned nor in the behavior of the users with privileges on that articles.
