I see multiple Category with colon in title. Eg. Category:SDB:Network. I feel this is not correct, but I can't find anything in the Guidelines about it.
That's because there is no rule for category names and the colon is just a part of the name in this case (technically).
So what will be the guideline on this? Category should be Category:Network and should become a sub-category of Category:SDB... right?
The SDB uses its own category structure which starts at SDB:, you shouldn't break that up.
In general there are a lot of questions open about the SDB. I hope that someday someone will step up and take ownership over this topic. Preferably someone who has to use it on a daily basis (someone who does a lot of support). Until then i would leave it like it is...
You (pl.) may also compare with statements on mediums of some more open ways of communication: # http://forums.opensuse.org/english/community/opensuse-wiki-discussions/44091... : "I would consider categories as independent from namespace." # http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Wiki/TODO # http://en.opensuse.org/Portal_Talk:Wiki/TODO In the current status the members of http://en.opensuse.org/Category:SDB:Network are not connected with the members of http://en.opensuse.org/Category:Network . But in http://en.opensuse.org/Category:Package_management there are also members of the namespace SDB included. pistazienfresser -- - openSUSE profile: https://users.opensuse.org/show/pistazienfresser -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-wiki+help@opensuse.org
