Because they are simply not relevant. The mail from Egbert is about further development of SaX2 and the usage of it as default Xorg configuration tool of openSUSE. They are not about the maintenance of the package sax2 in the openSUSE distribution. The announcement even says: "...It is still shipped and installed by default...". There is no need to install a package from Saschas home directory or of his "fork" on github. SaX2 has a package and a development project on berlios and everything.
