Hello everyone. I wanted to propose a change for the openSUSE Wiki. I believe that openSUSE has made great strides is improving the experience for users downloading openSUSE, or trying to get help with it. However, there is one place where openSUSE still has an issue: convincing people to use openSUSE! Maybe we're just modest :), but we don't seem to have enough information about the distro on the wiki. There's plenty of information about the project, but not the product. What I would like to do is create a page(s) taking the user through a tour of openSUSE, the desktop, the apps, and other information. I'd like for this information to be linked off of the front page, but I'm getting there... I would be happy to start writing some parts of the tour of 10.3, if that is what we decide to do. Another thing I have an issue with is the fact that openSUSE never makes a mention of the release of a new version of openSUSE on the front page of the wiki. The day before 10.3's release, the front page was still redirecting people to download or buy 10.2! What I'd like to see is a graphic on the top of the page, saying something like "openSUSE 11: Coming in 3 Days" etc... I've attached a file to give an example of what I mean. I would love to hear your ideas and comments! Thanks!
