I wish I can understand what you said. 
The mod_expire sounds like Apache module. 

I have more. 
Konqueror (3.5.7-72/64) doesn't show .jpg files while in online mode, only as 
as a file browser. 

Go to Firefox, and page is OK. 
Reason to use jpg is size 74 KB vs. png 430 KB.
