They're in the kernel log, so they come from the kernel (not from Xen).

any hints as to where if/from Xen those arise? maybe kernel-specific?

more importantly, are they of any concern? the DomU boots up &
functions normally -- afaict, there are no adverse effects. yet.

No, they're not indicating any problems. Inhibiting them (apart from the
pci-stub one, which isn't Xen-specific) would only increase the amount
of common code Xen patches need to touch, which is why there was
never an attempt to address this purely cosmetic issue.
