I have run into some weird situation wherein though I can ssh to the
domU's (ltsp particularly) but when several users(8-10) have ssh
sessions (ltsp in particular) it slows down almost coming to a
grinding unresponsive halt. Only a xm shutdown ltsp or a restart seems
to let me in again.

So it is not that no packets go through to ltsp but then progressively
seem to be dropped. But yet when I do a xentop I see that all packets
are dropped.

No firewall running on Dom0 and ltsp DomU. A firewall on daak DomU
only which is acting as an internet gateway for ltsp as well.

Versions
dom0 - Novell SLES 11
ltsp-domU - opensuse 11.1
xen 3.3.1

Do let me know if I can furnish any further info to help me debug this.
