An update that solves one vulnerability and has one errata
is now available.
Description:
Specially crafted responses from SSL servers could cause a
double-free bug in openssl's client implementation.
Malicious servers could exploit that to crash programs use
openssl for the SSL connection (CVE-2010-2939).
Patch Instructions:
To install this openSUSE Security Update use YaST online_update.
Alternatively you can run the command listed for your product:
- openSUSE 11.1:
zypper in -t patch libopenssl-devel-3206
To bring your system up-to-date, use "zypper patch".
