Hi Alberto,
please, do not understand the updater localization problem as a general
attitude. In this case, we have been working hard to provide a working
application first. The localization is in fact useless, if the application
does not work at all. Localization can be in fact fixed by patch published
after release, including updated translations. However, if the updater applet
does not work, you are unable to apply the fixes at all.
We do take localization seriously. E.g. look at the bugzilla, where engineers
always worry if they can fix the problem and avoid breaking already existing
translations.
