For most of you, this URL will probably not work.  You can download the
gettext packages directly from
http://software.opensuse.org/download/repositories/translation/ .  Then,
for example, click on "SUSE_Linux_10.1" -> "i386" and download gettext
and gettext-devel.

On SL 10.1 you can also use
http://software.opensuse.org/download/repositories/translation/SUSE_Linux_10.1
as an add-on installation source in YaST.
