thanks for the initiative. I am subscribed to the KDE-l10n-list as well and they seem to be quite short of people, especially for the "KDE Killer Apps" like digiKam or Calligra. AFAIK there are only two people in the German team. I will see what I can do even though I am not running KDE but supporting them means supporting a lot of distributions at the same time.
