If bugs have been opened and they describe your situation, then the most you can do is add a comment saying "Still present in 12.1 MS5". That will trigger an Email to everyone on the Cc list. If the bug has gotten out of mind, then that will be a reminder. Of course, this is probably an upstream bug and will need to be fixed by KDE, but at least a reminder is activated.
Reporting is the important part. I am a programmer, but I have no clue about KDE. In fact, I don't do much C++, thus I cannot help with any GUI.
Make certain that the openSUSE Bugzilla has an entry for it. I just checked and my 12.1 MS5 install has 3.3, thus it appears that you are on the bleeding edge. Again, this is an upstream problem. It might be work checking the LibreOffice bugzilla to see if that bug is filed there. I also see that 3.4.3 is out and your problem may be fixed already.

I've played with 12.1 since ms1, now on 5. Biggest show stopper for me
is the frequent crashes of KDE 4.7 plasma in varous setting including
reboot, shutdown, kontact. These have been reported as bugs from what I
can see on Bugzilla.

I'm not a programmer so I cannot help there. What else is needed?

Other major problem I've got is CaLc where the horizonal slider does not
work at all in 11.4 or 12.1.
LibreOffice 3.4.2 OOO340m1 (Build:1204)
This was downloaded from openSUSE repo so I'm not sure where to report
it. It worked 3.3 versions.
