Yes, you did:
Encrypted suspend is part of uswsusp.
Suspend data is sent to swap, thus swap has to be encripted.
I'd use a separate unencrypted swap partition for that.
Then you can go without any encryption at all (almost). Uneencrypted hibernation image would contain all the data you'd need for accessing any encrypted partitions mounted at the time of hibernating.
