Hi,
I am running a Suse 9.1 server, and I needed the --stdin option for the passwd command, to create the users from some scripts.
So I installed the pwdutils3.0 form http://www.suse.com/~kukuk/pam/pwdutils/
and I have the problem that:
- after I add a used or delete the user the user is not deleted imediately although the bash command is finished. So it takes a few seconds(about 10 - 20 secs) for the user to be added or deleted
I am having the problem that: I add the user and then I run the passwd command which returnes that the user does not exist. After a few repetitions the user is finaly created and I can change the password.
I find very odd this behavior, and I don't know which is the solution. I really need to run the passwd command after useradd, but it always returns user unknown. If I run it after 20 seconds it runs well.
Thankx,
Andy.
